Mandatory field templates per product category
Every product category carries its own mandatory fields. Omneya ships templates for the common cases out of the box:
- Food supplements: nutrition table, dosage recommendation, warnings, allergens, health claims
- Cosmetics: INCI list, period after opening (PAO), warnings
- Foodstuffs: nutrition table, allergens, origin, storage instructions (FIC/LMIV)
- Class I medical devices: UDI, conformity declaration reference
- Toys (EN71): age limit, warnings
Mandatory field templates kick in as soon as an article is assigned to the category. Missing fields appear in the data quality dashboard.
Health claims library
Omneya maintains a manually editable library of compliant statements per active ingredient. During article creation, existing entries are offered as suggestions.
Automatic EFSA matching (auto-suggest against the EU Health Claims database) is available on request and configured per project.
Variants and configuration

- Dependencies between options (option X requires Y, excludes Z)

- Bill of materials per variant: the configuration flows directly into manufacturing
Example: a foosball table with corpus material, rod color, lighting and glass plate combines twelve options. The resulting variant has its own bill of materials and its own production order.
Multilingual product texts
- Dedicated texts per language (no machine override, no auto-translation without approval)
- AI suggestions as drafts, always editorially reviewed
- Mandatory information is detected per language. Missing allergens, INCI or warnings show up in the quality check
Allergens and declarations
- Mandatory fields per FIC/LMIV and Cosmetic Regulation
- Optional voluntary fields for transparent declaration (also non-mandatory ingredients)
- Allergens are mirrored automatically into labels, newsletter templates and product texts
Batch traceability
- Batch master data per article and batch
- Trace evaluation from goods receipt to shipping
- Linked with best-before date and manufacturing lot
