Price calculation

Price calculation is the arithmetic behind every selling price in Omneya. Instead of keeping margins in Excel and typing prices into every system by hand, you define calculation rates once and Omneya works out each final price from them.

How it works

You create a calculation rule: purchase price × factor + mark-up − discount = selling price. The rule can apply per article, per category or per customer class. On every master data update (new purchase price, new tax class, new margin) Omneya recalculates the selling price automatically, live if you want it live, or as a bulk job for entire ranges.

Channel by channel

Amazon needs a different margin than your own shop. B2B customers get their own graduated prices. Price calculation knows these distinctions: per channel, per customer class, per country. What looks like a list of rules in the back office ends up as consistent pricing across every sales channel.

Transparency and control

Every price change goes into the audit trail. Who changed which price and when, which rule produces the current value, what would happen if you raised the margin by 2 %? Omneya answers these questions in real time, without you having to write any SQL.
